Ponfit Green Planet Initiative
Environmentally friendly pipe technology that incorporates technology
Pipework is a tough game; inefficient piping accounts for the majority of energy waste. The loss is imperceptible, yet it is raising your running costs on a daily basis. As a result, after three years of development, we devised a superior pipe system, DNE™, which stands for durability, neatness, and efficiency. With this system in place, we can achieve a perfect match and provide consumers with a high-performance spa with lower operating expenses.

Smart systems for smart spas
Spas cater to people's individual needs, so allowing them to adjust their own settings will be beneficial to them. As a result, Ponfit has been working with the best spa system manufacturers in the world, Balboa® Water Group and SpaNET®, for years, and has developed a specialized system that is implemented in every spa we produce. The former provides more power in service with both dealers and users, while the latter offers an exclusive design with Ponfit for piping technology and energy saving.
In the filtration design, Balboa® provides a good quality heating element and a convenient setting for users, while SpaNET® is designed with Ponfit to offer users a smart and power-variable heating component that can go up to heat water fast and save energy at the same time. They both perform well in their fields, and the choice is up to you!
Enjoying your hydrotherapy in the morning, while your spa water has been cleaned at night!

High-density foam is used to make the spa cover
Ponfit spas come with a foamy insulated cover as well as a kid lock. Due to the fact that hot air rises, a cover is required to prevent heat loss. A high density foam cover is ideal for protecting your spa; it seals in heat while also including a built-in kid lock for added safety!
With a load capacity of 25 to 50 kg and a UV-resistant surface, the cover may provide years of service to you and your family.
The Ultimate Insulation Scheme
In fact, according to the report, the area around the spa accounts for 75% of heat loss, therefore, the environment around the spa has the greatest impact on the outcome. Ponfit developed two stages in the plan (free) to keep more of your heat inside.
Scheme One: Insulation at the Foundation
As a matter of fact, the majority of the cold comes from underground. Cold air, dampness, and other factors all contribute to the chilling of your spa. Ponfit spa includes a thick sheet of aluminum packed with numerous little air expanded chambers, which is particularly intended for this condition. As a result of this shielding, there will be reduced heat loss.

Scheme Two: Insulation on the Shell
Polyurethane (PU) is the material that provides insulation between the spa shell and the ground. Since its invention, this material has quickly become a super star in the field of home building and construction as joist cavity insulation. Ponfit soon understood the superior compressive-strength capabilities as well as temperature resistance up to 300 degrees F, and as a result, we decided to use this as the only material for our spa shell insulation. In fact, what Ponfit did more than anyone in this industry is that we tried 6 times, over 167 days, to develop a new formula of insulation that guarantees a better attachment and thickness for spa shell use.

Scheme Three: Ultimate Option Insulation Packs
Although the ultimate insulation strategy can survive most situations, there are always some areas with very harsh weather that require further assistance. Iceland, Northern Europe, Northern Canada, and so forth. As previously stated, spa surrounds have the greatest impact on heating. As a result, we provide people three extra options:
Heating that saves you money on energy
Having a good heating element will help you save money on your daily heating expenditures. Ponfit spa has partnered with the finest in the industry, SpaNET® Alliance Group, to install a customized heat pump that may save you thousands of dollars over the course of your spa's lifetime..

Heating accounts for approximately 85% of a spa’s running cost. Back in 2009, SpaNET recognized air sourced heat pumps are the most energy efficient method of heating and became the first spa control manufacturer to develop an interface to offer true heat pump integration to a spa pool. For the past decade the SV Series plug-n-play heat pump interface has led the industry providing instant connection of a heat pump to your spa, slashing heating costs by up to 75% on every single power bill.
- Plug-n-play direct cable connection – no additional circuits required
- Automatic heat pump detection & disabling of SV electric element
- Dualcore - Automatically heats or cools to your desired temp (10-40’C)
- User-selectable rapid heat recovery mode: Heat Pump + Electric Element Boost

This design actually saves energy waste in real-time operating estimates (as shown in the statistics). As global warming worsens year after year, Ponfit, as an international spa manufacturer, feels compelled to do something to demonstrate its commitment to addressing the issue and reducing its carbon footprint. This is only the beginning; we'll keep going!
Less heating costs
A conventional heater uses metal resistance heating element, this is typically 100% efficient sice all the electrical energy used is converted directly into heat. Whereas the efficiency of the heat pump can reach as high as 300%-350% depending on the water temperature to be maintained. Theoretically, in the same condition of heating requirement, the conventional heater is able to transform 1 kilowatt power of electricity to 1 kilowatt of heat, but heat pump can turn 1 kilowatt to 4 kilowatts of heat. Therefore, the heat pump owns this game of energy.
